London June 22. lir John Forrest, Premier of Westralia ooDiulted the other Premier! in rtgard to the action of the Colonial Office in with* holding the Queen's asitnt to the Consti■titution Amending Bill, the proviuoni of which hare reference to the control oi the aborigines. The Premier hai anthoriied Sir John Forrest to apeak on their behalf at tht Conference with tha Colonial Office officials, and urge that prompt tisent ihonld be given to the Bill. On the ocoation of the visit of the colonial troopi to the Lyceum Theatre, Sir Henry Irving held a reception, whioh was attended by Mr Reid (New South Wales) and the other Premiers with their wivei.
