Bowling News.

Tho secretary of the Napier Bowling Clnb has received a letter from Mr J. H. Mentiplsy, secretary of the Northern Bowling Association, in which be states (hat (he almost unanimous feeling of the clubs in the North Island is in favor ol the next bowling tournament being held in Napier, Mr Mentiplay therefore re* quests that ibe necessary arrangements be made for holding the meeting, and he considers that in addition to the Napier green the Bluff Hill and Hastings grounds will also be required to play, both clubs having consented to cooperate with the Napier Club on that occasion. The tournament is to bo held early in January nexr.— Herald.
