(Per Press Association) Masterton. This Day. Tbe School Committee had a stormy discussion here on tho Foster upwrigbt system of writing, and passed a resolution of disapproval. They also con. demued the system of tho appointment of teachers under the Act as meaningless and farcical. They request the Minister of Education to introduce an ameudment providing that disputes between Boards and Committees over appointments shall be settled by a competent Board of Arbitration.
