A junior cup match will be played at Feilding on Wednesday next, between the Palmerston II and the Unionists (Feilding). The game should be very interesting, and will commence at S o'clock. The following team will represent the Unionists:— Full back, A. Re»de; threequart?rs, A. R. Toy, W. Baker, J. Robinson ; five cijjtbs, M. Brunette; half, E. Haybittle; forwards, D. Morris, J. Walton (wings) ; D. Reid, K. Foster, T. Braiiiwel!, J. Wells, W. liramwell, T. Maraton, C. Woolven. The following team will represent Manawatu in the rap. match against Wairarapa, at Palmerston, on Wednes* day next :— Full back, P. Giasen ; threequarters, Lusk, Hewitt, Rickards ; fiveeightb, Podevin ; half, W. Shannon ; wing-forwards, Perrin, Anderson ; forwards, Johnston, Rush, Smith, Eyre, Matheson, Desmond, Sullivan. Emergencies, B. Fitzherbert and H. W. Giesen. The match will start at 2.30. The Taranaki v. Wairarapa rep. match, played at Hawera on Saturday, resulted in a draw, the score being five points each. The Birmingham v. Ruabine match arranged for Saturday did not eventuate. Wellington and Taranaki meet on June 23rd. The following will represent Wellington : — Hales, Lawes, Roberts, MeGill, Bennstt, C, Campbell, McKenzie, Kelly, Young, Spencer, Pender, Panling, Calnan, Hardcastle and McAnally. At Wellington on Saturday Melrose defeated Athletics by 11 paints to 8, and tho Wellington v Petone match resulted in a draw.
