Obituary— Lady Sherton, wife of the President of the Westralian Legislative Council, of pneumonia supervsning influenza- She was visiting London with her husband for the jubilee celebrations. Capetown, June 4. Reports are to hand of tbe appalling mortality amongst tbe natives in north - em Transvaal, arrisine from pollution through eating cattle infected with the rinderpest.
