All the officials, especially tho well known secretary, Mr F. R Jackson, worked hard to please cveiyonc. Second Handicap Hurdles, 2 miles Troubadour 1, Brittania 2, Dummy '■'>■ Swift also ran. Won easily by :\ length. Tinip, 4iniu 13sec. Dividend, I' 4. Gr.iurlstand Steeplechase, 2i miles — liangipai 1, Claymore 2, Bradshaw 3. Violence, Tokauni, aud Glcnolg also ran. Violence was favorite but fell Rangipai led all the way, aud won easily by half a-dozen lengths, Titnc, smin 9hcc. Dividend, £1 lfis, Second Hunters' Steeplechase, 2.J miles- I-'lenfcwood 1, Dick 2, Telltale 3. j Sir Athol, Cad; (■ aivl Exchange a'so i ran, but were outpaced. Telltale led for two miles, wheu Fief twood made his run, widning easily by a length. Time, smin -iO 2 oscc Dividend, 12 19s. Second Hack Handicap, 1 mile - Emerald 1, Fireworks 2, St. Vincent !3.
