(Per Press Association. Auckland, May 22. Three Maoris from llawene have been sentenced to one month in gaol for nonpayment of dog-tax. Dunedin, May 25. At a meeting of the Hawke'e Bay Res lief Fund Committee it was decided to allow the Central Committee at Napier to deal with the distribution of the funds. The treasurer reported that the fund at present amounted to £1129. It waa de cided to close the lists on Saturday, June 12th. _ IJ^,_ M .
