Offers of sheep are coming in from all quarters. The Orient Company and Lands Company have offered to carry a portion of the meat free of cost. Adelaide, May 6. At tbe annual meeting of tbe Bank of Adelaide a 7 per cent dividend was declared. Tbe bank has convertible assets of over 10s in the pound against the whole liabilities. The drought continues very severe, especially in the north. Saturday and Sunday are fixed as days of humiliation and prayer for rain.
