PEMBERTON RIFLE CLUB.
The above club closed their season on Saturday, May Ist, 1897. The following are the scores and prizo winners : —
Ist prise, president's £8, F. Saywell ; 2nd, Mr E. Moore's silver teapot, Mr Lawson ; 3rd, president's £1, Mr J. J. Bryce. Mr Mitchell's special prize, gold medal for highest individual score fell to Mr Li. Stent. Mr Moffatt's special prize of 10s fell to Mr Lawson. Special prizes were also won by Saywell, 20s ; Lawson, 255 ; Stent, 10s ; H. Ruscoe, 2s 6d ; Bryce, 10s ; Stansell, 2s 6d ; Saywell, 2s 6d ; Hyde, 2s 6d ; O'Neil 10s, being presented by the president and the Pomber. ton Rifle Club. Mr Stansell takes Mr Bryce's cakn being presented to the lowest score.
