Romney Sheep.

A question of interest to sheep owners was raised at the meeting of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association on Friday by Mr P. Brady— viz., the renaming of the sheep now exhibited at shows at Romneys. He expressed the opinion that a true Romney wonld not be found in the country at the present time. They were all improved Romneyg, totally different from the original, and the consequence was that the judges were bothered and the merits of a good sheep frequently passed over. It was a matter which the Agricultural Conference sitting at Danedin next month might very well discuss, and he suggested that attention should be directed to it. Mr Majendie supported the proposal, and the President suggested that Brady should embody his ideas in writing, and it could then be submitted to the Conference. This Mr Brady agreed to do.— Post.
