Shocking Fatal Accident.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, This Day. A shocking accident occurred at the Woodstock Company's mine, Pareroa, on Saturday. The result was Patrick Wall, 20 years, was killed. The deceased, with others, was employed blasting, and having fired the fuses they retired till the explosion. Wall's fuse did not explode with the rest so deceased, thinking he had not spitted tho charge effectively went over to it, but on his reaching the place the explosion took pluce. He received its full force in the face and cheat. One eye was blown out and both arms reduced to a palp. A stone entered the chest and passed into 'he I*-- ft )u;,g.
