Messrs Laery and Co. report on their Welliugtou market under date April 3, as follows : — Bailey. — No alteration. Prime feed 2s 7d ; fair feed, 2s 4d per bushel. Wheat.- Prime whole fowl wheat, 4s Id ; prime milling nominally 4s 3d to 4s 6d per bushel. Oats. — Prime short feed, 2s 3d ; Duns, 2s 6d ; Danish, 2s 4d ; Tartarian (seed), 2s 6d per bushel. Potatoes. — Market easier. We quote choice Derwents Jfc'3 10s per ton. Onions. — Moderate sale at £4 10s per ton. Cocksfoot. —We quote — Farmers' heavy undressed seed, 3d to 3£d per lb at country statious ; extra heavy, 3£d per lb. Ryegrass. — Extra heavy machine dressed, 4s 6d ; good 4s to 4s 3d ; medium to good, 3s 3d to 3s 9d per bushel. Fungus — 3d per lb. Sbeep skins. — We quote country crossbred nkins, medium to line quality, well saved pelts, oid ; extra choice lines, full wooled, 5-ijd; half to three-* quarter-woolled, well saved, 4Jd to 5d ; fair to medium, 3d to 4}d ; best country merinos, full-woolled, 4f d to sd ; ordinary to good, 4d to 4j per lb. Hides. — Extra heavy ox hides, wellflayed, 18s to 20s ; plump heavy, 16s to 17s Gd ; medium, 10s to 14s; cow hides, extra heavy, 8s to 9a 6d ; medium, 7s to 7s 6d. Badiy flayed and slippy bides at proportionate rates.
