Palmerston Hospital Board.

o The above Board met yesterday morning. — Present — Messrs Kendall (chairman), Ransom, Taylor, Harris Park, Booth and Ravenbill. COBRESPONDENCE. From Halcome Town Board, stating that Mr Moeller, of Halcombe. would be a permanent case for charitable aid. From Wellington Hospital, giving list of persons admitted to that institution and said to be from the Palmerston Hospital District. Considerable discussion ensued on the letter received from the Wellington Hospital authorities, and Mr Taylor expressed the opinion that the Welliugton Board should be informed that unless patients admitted were provided with an order for admittance from thia Board no liability would be accepted. Cases of accident, of course, would be exceptions, and should be paid for. A resolution embodying tbe suggestion was moved by Mr Taylor and carried. The matter was allowed to drop after further desultory discussion upon it. The communication from the Halcome Town Board was left in the hands of the Chairman and Executive Officer. CfonrlarrJ
