To the Premiers in general 'twas Chamberlain wrote : 11 Take berths in an Orient or P. and O. boat ; Bring a wife or a daughter, and venture to sea, And be Government guests for the Queen's Jubilee, You Bhall fill up your glasses and live at your ease ; Have rooms at the Cecil, and do as you please ; You shall head the procession, and kneel on one knee, And arise (if not now one) a KC.M.G. From Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, and Adelaide, too, From Wellington, Hobart, come all of you, do. From Sydney's sweet shackles, Reid, shake yourself free ; Put your glass in your eye and come hither to me. You shall have an escort of soldiers on horse, Knee breeches and swords, as a matter of course ; Send letters for nothing, and wire ad lib,, And, perhaps, if you choose, dig the Prince in the rib, By day you shall revel in London's de lights, And with me or with Salisbury go out at nights. Yon shall skip the Lyceum and visit the ' Halls,' And on Sundays we'll take you in state to St. Paul'sSo come o'er the water as fast as you can, For England expects every Premier man.
