(Per Press Association.) Blenheim, March 1. Tbo second clay's meeting of the Marlborough Racing Club was held in splendid weather an J a fair attendance. The racing was interesting, good starts and splendid finishes being the feature of j the meeting. Results : — Farmers' Plate 4 furlongs — lota 1, Yellow Rose 2, Petite 8. Also started — Mist, Mtirua, Cossack, Lady DOr, Silver Spray and Castaway. Won by a short neck. Time, 54 1 sdcc. Dividends, £o 12a and £2 16s. Telegraph Handicap. 7 furlongs — Voltaire 1, Sing Song 2, Gunboat 3. Other starters — Sea Serpent, Cheque, St. Elmo, and Hinewhetu. Time, lmin Js2sec. Dividends, t:5 IDs and £2 us. Electric Handicap, 5 furlongs —lota 1, Yellow Rose 2, Cauicha ■>. Other starters — Kight Metal, Gunboat, Mist, Foreroyal and Vaseline. Great race, won by a short neck. Time, lmin ssec. Dividei:ds, ri2 H S and ill 43. Farewell Handicap, lmile —Sing Song 1, Voltaire 2, Princess ;>.
