♦ (Per Press Association.) Auckland, March 16. Constable Joyce recovered this afternoon the bodies of Mrs Cooper and Michael McMurray, victims of the Pahi boating accident. At the criminal sessions of tho Supreme Court, in the Carroll alleged tlirowiug acid case at Paeroa, the jury were locked up at 12.40 p.m. and brought into Court at intervals up to 9.30 p.m., but the foreman of the jury told his Honor there was no prospect of the jury agreeing and they were locked up for the night.
