Death of Professor Drummond.

(Per Press Association.) London, March 11. Professor Henry Drummond, aged 46, is dead. The late Professor Drummond was born in Stirling in 1851. H« subsequently passed through the Free Church Divinity Hall, and after this ordination was appointed to a mission station at Malta. He was appointed a Lecturer in Science at the Free Church College, Glasgow* in 1877, and Professor in 1884. Subsequently he travelled with Professor Gelkie in the Rocky Mountains and South Africa. He is tbe author of " Natural Law in the Spiritual World," a work which has elicited much criticism, and is now in the 29th edition. The late Professor Drnmmond also wrote some interesting accounts of travels, tbe most noticeable of which is " Tropical Africa."
