Messrs Gorton and Son report: —We held a large sale at Bulls yesterday. The attendance was better than nsual and a good sale resulted. Bidding opened poorly but improved as the sale continued. A live of 6 tooth Lincoln ewes sold on behalf of Mr James Kilgour realised 9s. Wo seld the Mangakeretn property at £4150 to Messrs Wilson Bros. We quote : — Sheep—2-tooth wethers, 7s ] ld; shorn lambs (good), 4s 4d to ss; medium do , 2s 6d to 3s 6d ; Romney ewes, 6s od ; 6tooth Lincoln ewes, 9s ; breeding ewes, mixed ages, 5s to 6s 9d ; old ewes, 2s 9d to 4s; crocks, ls 6d to 2s. Cattle — Shorthorn yearlings, 355; shorthorn 2£.year heifers, £210s ; weaners, il 2s 6d: fat cows, £4 ss; small pigs 6s.
