(Per Press Association.) Wellington, March 7. Arrived — Gothic, from London. No Magisterial inquiry will be held into the stranding of the Aorere at Paten. A prospector, Wm. Peague, is reported missing on the Kaimanawa Range. Search parties hare gone out from Tokaano. Chbistchurch, March 6. It is rumoured that Mr A. B. Worth ington has been invited to return to Cbristchurch to take charge of acongre gation and he hau been guaranteed an annual salary of £250 Nelson, March 5. The Nelson Star has ceased publication.
