" Trilby."
A rare treat is in store for lovers of the drama on next Thursday evening, when the Collet Dobsoc Company will produce the now famous drama " Trilby." Mr Dobson is an old favorite with the Feilding playgoers. Of tbe play itself it may be said that for many years no other has created such a sensation, or such enthusiasm. When Dv Maurier's novel " Trilby " appeared it at once took tha reading public by storm, and the burning question among all readers wai : " Have you read ' Trilby ? ' " and to-day it oan safely claim to bs the most read and best remembered book published during the last twenty years. The same may be said of the play, as in every city and town in which it hat been played it has drawn crowded bouses night after night. We therefore confidently advise our readers not to miss the opportunity which will be afforded them on next Thursday evening of witnessing the production Dy a strong combination under tbe able leadership of Mr Col let Dobson. Mr Petherick, who also piloted tbe Dob-son-Kennedy Company in their tour through the colony, is tha company* manager, and has been equally successful in his present ventnre.
