The Seamen's Union.

It is unlikely another conference will tako place between the shipowners and the Federated Seamen's Union for the settlement of the wages dispute on the lines of the Conciliation Board's award. The seamen are strongly disinclined to j give way on the clause objected to by the shipowners, as they claim that con cessions already made are far below those to wfaich they are entitled.
