FEELING OF UNREST IN THE COUNTRY. PRESIDENT KRUGER AND THE LORD. | Per Press Association] Pretoria, March 1. In his speech when proroguing tbe Volksraad, President Kruger said dark clouds were gathering in the Transvaal, but he felt confident the Lord would assist them. It was the policy of the State never to attack. Majuba Day, commemorating the Boer victory over the British at Majuba Hill, was celebrated with unusual enthusiasm. A gr^at feeling of unrest prevails throughout the Transvaal. President Kruger will shortly visit the Orange Free State to discuss the question of a closer union with the Transvaal Republic.
