Lord Onslow and the Ngatihuia.

(Per Press Association.) Wbllixgtox, February 18. Lord Onslow has sent out an illuminated address framed in oak, and a fine Union Jack, 25ft by 12ft to the Ngatibuia tribe after whom his son, born in New Zealand, is named. Lady Onslow sent a large portrait of the boy. These were handed over by Sir Walter Buller at Muhuanoa, near Papaitongo lake, this week on the occasion of the tangi over the remains of Ruhe Roera, a woman of high rank, and the opening of the cew carved bouse, the work of Morehu, a Tohunga of some repute. There was great rejoicings on the occasion, and the Maoris were delighted. In the address Lord Onslow says his Maori house is now erected on his estate acid is full of memorials of the Ngatihuia.
