Loyal Manchester Lodge Oddfellows.
A good Attendance of members of the above Lodge was present on Friday evening last. Bro. Taylor, N.G., presided. After tbe usual routine business was gone throngb, Bros. Wilson and Taylor, delegates to the District Meeting, gaye a report of the business done, and complimented Bro. Saywell on being elected D.G.M. for the next twelve months. A request was asked of Bro. Parker to give an explanation of tbe diplomas presented to him by tbe District, at the next Lodge meeting, which he consented to do. As the anniversary of the Lodge takes place at the beginning of next month, the following brethren were elected a committee to carry out a social on that occasion -C. Aitken, J. Walton, G. Davidson. Watts, and Morphy and the offic era ex officio. Bro. Hodren sent in his resignation as trustee of the Lodge, through leaving the town, which was accepted with regret. One and all present spoke in tbe very highest terms of Bro. Hodren as an Oddfellow. Bro. Aitken was elected to fill tbe vacancy through Bro. Hodren's resignation.
