Closing of the Wellington Exhibition.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, February 3. The Industrial Exhibition which opened on November 18th, was closed this evening, the building being packed to wituess the closing ceromony, which was performed by Lady Glasgow. Mr J. Brown gave on behalf of the Committee an account of the stewardship, showing that the Exhibition had been a great success not only financially, but to manufacturers and producers. Since the Exhibition was opened it had been visited by 180,000 people. The surplus over expenditure was estimated at from £2300 to £2500. The Exhikition had been the means of circulating between £20,000 and £30,000 amongst tradesmen.
