(Per Press Association.) New York, Jan. 18. Zurbriggcn, tho Swiss guide who accompanied Mr E. A. Fitzgerald in bis Alpine tour of New Zealand, has sue ceeded at his third attempt in ascending Mount Acoucaaua, in the Argentine Re^ public, reaching au altitude of 24,000 ft. Mr Fitzgerald was tafceu ill and had to retire withiu lOUOffc of the summit.
