The Venezuelan Treaty.

PRESIDENT CLEVELAND'S VIEWS (Per Press Association.) Washington, January 12. The general treaty of arbitration between Great Britain and the United States, which was recently drawn up between Sir Julian Paunceibrfce, British Ambassador at Washington, and Rich ard Olney, United States Secretary of State, was formerly signed yesterday. President Cleveland, in a letter to the Senate, recommends the adoption of the treaty, as it represents concessions by each party and is a long step in the right direction.
