Turanga Stakes, 1½ miles -Mahaki 9st, Haria 8st 4lb, Golden Plover 8st lib, Strowan, Huna, 7st 101 b, Gould Cup 7st 71b, Retribution 7st 41b, Wairoagomai 7st 2lb, Kingsmau 7st lib, Drury Lane 6st 91b, Admiral Hawke, Merry Maid, Kihukura 6st 71b. Flying Handicap, 6 furlongs — Gold Cup 9st 41b, Huna 3st 111 b, Maid Marion Bst 31b, Coolgardie 7st 131 b, Nightingale, Admiral Hawke 7sfc 71b. The hurdle horse, Hopgarden, the winner of the last Auckland Grand National Hurdles, was severely injured this morning whilst schooling over hurdies.
