A London writer Hays : — I hear, by the way, that La Sagittaire, who ran behiud Omnium 11. in the Prix dv Cons-etl Municipal, bas been sold for £10,(100 to go to Gernmuy, and that his covering fee will be only £10. What a pull (he Germans have over the poor breeders in this country, tbanks to their different form of Government ! The German Government is determined to have good horses, no matter what they may have to pay for the sims, and the same is the case with Austria and France. It is in horse-loving England alone that the State is indifferent. Omnium 11. is priced at £20,000, and I am told he is the best horse they have had iv that country for years. His dam was, if 1 recollrct rightly, a little English selling plater.
