Cycling News.

The third annual meeting of the Feilding Cycling Club will be held on the Feilding Oval on Friday, January 22, when a first-class programme of nine cycling and three pedestrian events is submitted. The entries close on Friday next, Jan. 8, and it is expected some of the best riders in this island, including the R-angitikei crack, F. Hunt, will be among the starters. It is needless to point out the growing popularity of cycling, and it is anticioated that local residents will show their appreciaton of the efforts of the Feildine Cycling Club to provide an exciting day's outing by attending in crowds.

The match for £250 aside arranged between Ken Lewis and Martin foe next Saturday has been declared off owing to a serious accident which befell Lewis while training last week.
