Mr Cecil Rhodes.
(Per Press Association). Capetown, January 9. Mr Cecil Rhodes has expressed himself flattered and reassured by the enthusiastic receptions accorded both by the English and Dutch residents of Capetown on his return from his visit to Griqualand. He added that he had formerly accepted the advice of caucuses of bis party, but in future he would always look to the populace for guidance snd impetus during his public career.
