First Handicap Hurdles, 2 miles — Rossall 1, Swift 2, Rangipai 3. Won easily by a length. Time, 3miu 58sec. Dividend, £3 2s. First Hack Hurdles, li miles-Billy 1, Bohemian 2, Venture 3. Won by a head. Time, 3min 31sec. Dividend, £5 15s. Manawatu Cup, l._ miles — Lorelei 1, Douglas 2, Quiltiri 3. Won by a bare t head. Time, 2min 38 2 Osec. Divi dend, £3 ls. First Hack Flat Handicap, H miles — lolauthe 1, Marvellous 2, Aquafortis 3 Won by two lengths. Time, 2min 10 3-ssec. Dividend, £22 12s.
