NEW SOUTH WALES v. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. (Per Press Association.) Adelaide, Dec. 21. South Australia made 187 in their first innings. Lyons 78, Hill 49, Darling 19. McKibben took 7 wickets for 51, Howell two for 60, Turner one for 68. In their second innings New South Wales have lost 7 wickets for 136. Noble 69, Iredale 21, Mackenzie 14. The weather was fine and the attendance large. Lyons played a dashing innings, quite m his old style, and with Hill, wbo displayed his ÜBual strong defence, made a long stand. McKibben maintained an excellent length and the batsmen found him almost unplayable. Noble's innings was an excellent display of rapid scoring. The second cup match of the Bush Cricket Association, between the Apiti and .Rangiwahia Cricket Clubs was played at Apiti on December 19, and resulted in a win for the Rangiwabia te*m by 43 runs. For the winners Cudley 17, and Stevens 20, batted very well. Saywell and Stansell bowled well for tbe winning eide. For Apiti Thompson 7, Gascoigne 6, and Donald 6, showed the best form with the bat and Moyce was tbe most successful bowler. Tbe fielding of some of the Rangiwabia team was very good, and according to their present form they should have a* good chance of winning the Cup. The game was much enjoyed by all present.
