TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, 1896. ON THURSDAY, December 24th. a Special Passenger Train will leave Wanganui at 11 p.m., Turakina 12.20 a,m. (Dec. 25th), Marton 12 50 a.m., Feilding 2 a.m., arriving at Palmerston at 2 35 a.m., stopping at any intermediate station if required. Passengers by this train for Wellington can go on from Palmerston at 6.30 a.m. on Christmas Day. A Special Passenger Train will also leave Wellington at 11 p.m. on December 24th for Wanganui, Longburn dep. 3.35 a.m (Dec. 25th), Paltnerston dep. 4.2 a.m , arriving at Wanganui at 7.30 a ni., stopping at any intermediate stations if required. CHRISTMAS DAY. The Regular Time-table will be observed on Xmas Day on the New Fly-uiouth-Foxtoa section aad branches. Feilding Sports and Falmerston Races, DECEMBER 26th. A Special Passenger Train will leave Wanganui at 6.30 a.m., Fordell 7.20 ejm , Turakina 8 am., Marton 838 a.m., Greatford 8 58 a.m., Falcombe 9.30 a.m., Feilding 10.5 a.m., arriving at Palmerston at 10.45 a.m., returning from Palmerston at 6.20 p m., Feilding 7.5 p m., Halcombe 7.43 p.m., Greatford 8.10 p.m., Marton 8.28 p.m., Turakina 9.5 p.m., arriving at Wanganui at 10.30 p.m., stopping at any intermediate station if required. The 7 a.m., Wanganui to Palmerston, and the 5.30 p.m., Palmerston to Wanganui, will also run as usual. The usual 7.25 p.m. train from Marton to Mangaonoho will be delayed to leave Marton at 8 10 p.m., aad will connect at Marton Junction with the 6.20 p.m. train from Palmerston as above. Foxton Branch. On Saturday, 26th December, the usual 9 a.m. train from Foxton will leave at 7.45 a.m., Carnarvon 8.8 am., Longburn 9 a.m., Palmerston 9.25 a.m., arriving at Feilding at 10 5 am., returning from Feilding at 6.20 p an., Palmerston 7.10 p.m, arriving at Foxton at 8.40 p.m., stopping at any intermediate station if required. On MONDAY, 28th December, the usual 5.5 p.m. train from Palmerston to Foxton will be delayed till 6 p.m. and will run correspondingly later to destination.
