Frozen Meat Trade.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Dee. 17. Three representatives of the Vienna Butcher's Association have been visiting Sydney to make arrangement for regular shipments of meat to Austria. Australian frozen meat is already largely consumed in Austria, and some time ago an enterprising timber merchant entered into contracts with the principal wholesale butchering establishments to snpply them with Australian meat, the supplies proving insufficient to meet the demand. The contractor raised the prices, which the butchers resented, and combined to send delegates to Australia to arrange for constant supplies at a uniform price. The delegates express themselves highly pleased at the result of the enquiries, and are confident that a large trade will be oponod up. Thoy havo completed arrangements for shipments of extensive consignments with the next few weeks, and it is their-: intention to visit Queensland to make similar arrangements.
