The fourth and final competitions for trophies presented by Mrs Kirton (Class A) and Capt. Kirton (Class B) took place on the Feilding range at 5 a.tn. yesterday, and were won by Vols Wilson and D. Beunett respectively. The conditions were — Four competitions, best three to count. Only four of the leading men in class A and two in class B fired yesterday. Scores, class A: — 500 600 700 H'p. Bennett ... 51 4.5 42 138 Vol McMillan ... 49 43 35 127 This competition also counted for Capt. Kirton'g rifle (for which there have now been twenty competitions) and resalted in another win for Sgt. Aitken.
