RULES and EEGULATIONS. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliafed with the N Z A A A, and must p o duce ticket of membership from tfaeir Club Secretary. All Amateur Eyents will be run under the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletio Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nomination* mast be sent in upon the printed official forms of the W.ZC.U. The particular attention of competitors v drawn to Sale 26, which reads— ' Every competitor most wear complete lothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks R egleet of this rule renders tbe competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor foDDd jjuilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. Tbe Com* mitlee reserve tbe right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and tbe correctness of bis de* senption of bis performances. The Com* mittee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he sball not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors i»each event or no first prue, three or no second, four or no third. Entries will be received and sporte conducted under the printed rules of tbe Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is.
