RULES ahd REGULATIONS. Nominations for all Handicaps, including lumping events, munt be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9tb, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for> ward Postal Notes, and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Eyent to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Performances for the last two years (matches included), with dates and localities of such performances, and each competitor ■ending in nominations mnst state his handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of Entrance Fee on Acceptance, which can be made on the ground. Other events Post Entries. Colors must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under' SOO y&Tds in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with tbe N Z A A A, and must pro** duce ticket of membership frcm their Club Secretary. All Amatenr Events will be run nnder the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of tbe New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be scut in npon the printed official forms of the N.ZC.U. j | |The particular attention of competitors in drawn to Rule 25, which reads— * Every competitor must wear complete lothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks- fr eglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under, an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for lifo. The Como mittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and tbe correctness of his de«* sctiption of his performances. The Com. mittee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he ■hall not be entitled to claim any prize. 1 here must be two competitors io^ach event or no first prise, three or no aecond, four or no third.
