Stock Market.
R. Jackson and Co. report :— The bidding at the St. Hill Street sale was better for cattle than of late. We had a fair entry and sold nearly all out. Sheep were also well competed for and sold at current rates. Pigs all sold in favor of the vendors. Cattle— Store 8-year-old bullocks, £3 12s ; heifers, £2 ; yearlings, 28s 6d to 32s 6d ; milch cows, hi. Sheep — Fat ewes in wool, 9s ; shorn fat ewes, us 6d to 7s ; shorn wethers, 7s 3d , hoggets in wool, 9s ; shorn store ewes, 4s 6d to 4s 9d. Pigs— Baconers, 22s to 25s 6d ; small pigs, 7s 3d to 12a. Poultry— Fowls, 2g 9d to 3s 3d, ducks, 3s to 4s, turkeys, 6s 6d to 10s tbe couple.
