(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Dec. 8. The Tonga Trading Company with a capital of £10,000, has been registered in Sydnoy, with the object of developing the trade between Sydney and Tonga, with the headquarters at Nukualofa. Mr Ives has been re-elected Mayor of Sydney. This Day. The Premier has received from Mr R. J. Seddon a telegram of sympathy with the sufferers st the Stockton disaster. Grave fears are entertained for the safety of the ketch Sunbeam, which left on October 30th, with a cargo of explosives for Townsville. A box containing the vessel's papers and a quantity of clothing have been washed ashore at Nainbucca river. The crew consisted of Captain Weir, Palmer and Mackay, part owners. Adelaide, This Day. The barque Hunz which left Port Pirie for Devonport on June 16th is considerably overdue, and a re-insurance at £75 per cent has been effected. English files state H.M.S. Pearl will relieve the Ringarooma at an early date next year. Brisbane, Dec. 9. The Bank Bill has passed through committee. The only important amendment is the alteration of the time for the repayment of Government moneys from 1931 to 1921.
