| Per Press Association] Auckland, November 8. "Z St Paul continues to hold his position as favorite for the Auckland Cup, though little money is invested on him at the price quoted -3 to 1. At Elierslie this morning, Day Star travelled a mile and a half, the last haltmile at top, St. Paul covered the Cup distance in good style. Mahaki moved well in the long work apportioned him.
