FEILDING J.C. SPRING MEETING.
Tbe weather was fine to day for the first day's racing in connection with tbe Feilding Jockey Club's Spring Meeting. There is every indication that this will be one of the most successful meetings jet beld by this Club, there being a large number of visitors in town. Below are the results up to the time of our going to press : — Flyisu Handicap, of, 50 soys , second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. Six furlongs. 105 Mr F. Moeller's Torpina, Bst 21b (C. Fairbrothpr) 1 50 Mr J. P. Belcher's Sedgebrook 7st 81b (G. Price) 2 67 Mr A. Smith's Errand Boy, Bst 31b) (A. Hansen) 3 Also started— 92 Flying Shot 89, 46 Umslopogaas 8 0, 6S Aphony 7-12, 552 Gold Cup 7-9, 26 Bavaria 6-11. 34 Oarrick 6- 10, 16 Reality 69, 18 Hangtire 6-9. Torpina jumped away with the lead which he maintained to the finish, winning by about a lengtu. Time lmin 18sec. Dividend £4 14s.
