Lively Meeting in Wellington.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Dec. 1. Mr J. J. K. Powell, a candidaie for the City, had an extremely rowdy meeting at the Opera House and failed to obtain a hearing. He was understood to say he was an Independent Liberal and Prohibitionist. He was pelted with cabbages, carrots, etc., and the meeting refused to allow a vote being taken and broke up in disorder.
