Mr Lethbridge will address the electors at Waituna this evening. At Danevirke two ladies have been engaged to act as poll clerks. Mr Lethbridge addressed the electors ai Cheltenham last night. Sevei ai questions t of an unimportant nature were aaked. Afc the conclusion of his address a vote of confidence was carried with three cheers for the candidate. At Mr Hogg's meeting at Eketahuna aMr Neilsen asked him "Are you in favor of the Government seizure of the Sinking funds ? " Mr Hogp : " Yes ! I am in favor of Government seizing what* ever it can."

Mr Grimmond addressed his first meeting to a crowded audience in the Totara Hall, Ross, last night, the Mayor in the chair, and met with an enthusiastic reception. He spoke strongly in opposition of the Government and Premier, especially condemning the corruption of the present administration. At tbe conclusion he received a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence. Wellington, This Day. The Wellington branch of the New Zealand Workers' Union has sent a tele gram to Mr Hall-Jones, congratulating bim on th« manner in which he bas nlled tbe position of Minister of Public Works, and trusting he will be re elected.
