The child, for he is no more, 1 , being only eight yeass of age, has developed a marvellous memory, and he is gifted with an extraordinary faculty lior making abstruse calculations mentally and in tbe briefest space of time. Fotf instance, he is blind folded on tbe stage,) with bis back turned to the blackboard, quid a string of about 200 figures are written tbereon, after which they are repeated to the boy. These figures the lad repeats again from beginning to efyd without a single bitch, and as a furjtber test he reads them backwards, bis eyes being bandaged all tbe time. He then goes through all kinds of mental arithmetical gymnastics. Nothing comes \ amiss to him, addition, subtraction,, division, cube, square, reduction, anid catch questions. Besides the calculating boy, there are several other attractions in tho entertainment. Ho is accompanied by the Georgia Magnet, an immovable lady, who, although only Bst {weight, defies the strongest men to shift lier.
