— ■ \j Mr Lethbridge addressed the electors at Beacousfield on Saturday evening Mr T. S. Cornish presiding. There was a good attendance and at the conclusion of his address Mr Lethbridge, in reply to Mr Phynn as to whether he was in favor of assisfciog those who bad *lready settled on tbe land to get roads, said the settlers on the land bad hi 9 sympathies and he would assist them in every way he could. Mr Lethbrielgo was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence on the motion of Mr Rutherford. Mr Bruce addressed the electors at Awahuri last Saturday evening, when there was a lar»e attendance, including a number of ladies, acid I\ir Bruce was well receivedMr Bailey will address the electors at Feilding to night. Mr Bailey addressed the electors at Makino on Saturday evening when there was a good attendance and he bad a good reception. One or two unimportant questions were asked and answered satisfactorily and at the conclusion of his address a vote thanks only, at his own request, was carried. Mr Mortensen occupied the chair.
