Wellington Show.

i (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Nov. 18. At the Show to-day the judging was confined to cattle and sheep, the former was a remarkable feature, the display of Ayrshiree being in the opinion of competent judges as good as England. A. and J. MacFarlane, of Dunedin, took £50 prizes in Ayrsbires, and Rogeraon and Fleming also received a number of firsts. In Shorthorns, McHardy, of Hawke's Bay, swept the board ; and in Herefords, ! J. Stuckey, Wairarapa, took seven firsts and two championships. There was also a fine show of sheep and the judging , caused great difficulty. In Lincolns, , Perry Bros., of Masterton, carried off 4550 prize and champion ewe ; Tanner, i Hawke's Bay, champion ram. A. Matthew secured the £50 award in Koraney Marsh. J. Stuckey, most of the prizes in Southdowns. Fat sheep, most ot the prizes were divided among the Wairarapa breeders.
