Wellington Exhibition.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Nov. 17. The weather promises to be fine for the opening of the Exhibition to-morrow, which will be opened by the Governor. All the exhibits are not yet in place, but are expected to be completed in the course of a day or so. The grounds embrace an area of about foar acres. The total area of the floor space is 57,268 square feet. The concert hall is erected to seat 1250 people. At night the whole building will be lighted by electricity iuvolviug the use of 500 incandescent lamps varying from 50 to 60 candle power, the illumination from which will be equal to one candle to every four square feet of floor space. The principal lamp is an arc lam}) of 5000 candle power, which in suspended in front of the main entrance. The building will be opened at 2 p.m., and at 2.55 the Governor, accompanied by the officers of the warships Wallaroo and Lizard, will attend. His Excellency will deliver an opening address. The Hon. W. C. Walker, Minister of Education, will represent the Government. The Premier is unable to be present, owing to previous engagements.
