This Day. < Stephen Bosher pleaded guilty to charges of theft and bigamy. He was sentenced to two years on each, to run concurrently. Christchurch, Nov. 16. The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court which opened to-day was one of the shortest on record, lasting less than four hours. Most of the accused pleaded guilt v. Frank Gerard, aged 19, on two charges of breaking and entering was admitted to probation for six months. Mulling, theft, probation for six months. James Levy, and Arthur Webster, pocket picking at the races. The former, three months, and the latter six months imprisonment. James Dalton an old offender, on two Charges of breaking and entering, four yeats' imprisonment. Tbrmas Wbitß acquitted on a similar charge. Isabella Alexander, oo two charges of forgery, twelve months' imprisonment. Frederick Cleave Jones, breaking and entering, was acquitted.
