Nominations for all Handicaps, inclad in lumping events, mu»t be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9th, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes, and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handica Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Publ c Performances for the last tvo years (matches included), with dttes and localities o' fluch performances, and each competito; •ending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position a* the finisb of each race, otherwise he will rendei himself liable to disqualification. TheCommi^ tee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affilU ated with the N Z A A A, and must pro* duce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur Events will be run under the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Bules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be sent in upon the printed official forms of the JTZ.C.U. The particular attention of competitors if drawn to Bule 25, which reads — * Every competitor must wear complete lothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is joraey (sleeved to elbow), and loose draff era or trunks. Ai eglect of this rale rerders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an Msumud name or practising any fraud, I •hall l« disqualified for hie. The Com* nittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of hi* de* «enptiot of his performances.
